It is time to change the narrative. It is time to open the mind. It is time to change the stories that inspire our actions and keep us from being more. The Equally Powerful Initiative is a non-profit organization that aims to spread the mental awareness to women that they should shelve the damsel in distress narrative portrayed my Cinderella and other stories that enforce negative stereotypes that women need to be saved and therefore waste opportunities to save themselves. We are our own heroes and we must fight the mental slavery that we must wait patiently to be discovered or that we need men to be great. We are more than enough. Our mental capacity is mind blowing. We are equally powerful mentally, physically and emotionally. The first step to victory is weeding out the weeds of lies in our minds and enforce our beliefs of straight, power and unending possibilities. We are not victims but we are able to free ourselves the same way men can do the same if the occasion calls for it.

Fight First and you have a chance to winning. Relying on others slows the process of emancipation. Deal with mental slavery first and we are halfway there. Victory is assured!

I had often wondered what it was like to have anything you wanted but I just could not understand the endless benefits of being that full and rich. Like a lot of women, I strongly believed a woman's place was under the man no matter who she was. I felt women could never be equal to men as men were our saviours. However, I have now come to realize that we are our own heroes. Nobody should be beneath anyone as such usually leads to abuse and endurance of abuse by the dominator whom you have chosen to place in such condition. We are indeed equal to men. We deserve the same priviledge as them and should be given the same opportunities in all fields, whether we exploit all of it should also be our choice. The only scenario of men being superior to women was if they came through another channel but no, we all came from one source. Embrace equality amd mutual respect.
